圣母玛利亚的模样和声音

既然今天多数人都不信神,那么能想到圣母玛利亚的人就会很少。这实在是一种遗憾,因为我觉得,最美的模样,最美的声音,就有关于她。

想到圣母的人虽然不多,想到米开朗基罗的人也许不少。而圣母最美的模样就是米开朗基罗刻成的。

怀抱着死去的耶稣基督的圣母,好像是个少女,这实在是让人不可理喻。可是,任何对此指手画脚说不可能的人,都缺乏想象力,缺乏美的鉴赏力,刻板的让人叹息。

我其实也可以推而广之:那些说圣母圣洁之孕不可相信的人也一样,完全是“不解风情”,更进一步,那些坚信圣经是无羁之谈的人,尤其是如道金斯那样的科学家,从各方面考证证伪,自以为推导出了真理而自作聪明的人,实在是愚蠢至极。当然,这样说,不是所有人都懂。

我不是个天主教徒,因此很少想到圣母,但是米开朗基罗让我知道了圣母的模样,她悲伤,温柔,慈爱,甚至有些虚弱,而不像天父那样严厉,耶稣那样坚定。但是她的模样很美。

圣母的声音是怎么样呢?

没有留声机留下她的声音,我们只能想象。

我一时想不出哪首曲子传递的是圣母的声音,但是好多唱过《圣母玛利亚》的声音都是最美的。

最流行的《圣母玛利亚》是舒伯特的那首,比较流行。那是与圣母的交谈,有变化,但基本是中音上下,圣母好像坐在对面。

但正如一切的音乐,有巴赫的地方,别的都会稍逊一点。巴赫的《圣母玛利亚》就很空灵,圣母在遥远的天空,但很清晰,眼睛如闪亮的星星,人们需要仰望着她,高音穿过夜空,向她飞去。

我第一次听这一首,是André Rieu 介绍黑珍珠 Kimmy Skota 唱的,非常感动,我在YouTube上看见现场的很多观众,感动的流泪,但是,我没有。

我以为只有这两首《圣母玛利亚》,但是我错了,我听到另一首,又有一种独特的美。

听到这一首,我留了泪,因为她的力量,那力量让我感到圣母不再是米开朗基罗雕刻中那么青春,甚至有些虚弱。更重要的原因,大概是嘉兰查的完美,那音质,比米开朗基罗的更为丰满,醇厚,强力度,内在的精神也无出其右,穿透人心。

或者,也许是因为作曲家William Gomez是现代人。


William Gomez was born on April 5, 1985 in San Jose Villanueva, Department La Libertad, El Salvador. He began playing piano in 2003, the National Arts Centre of El Salvador, with Mr. Giovanni Ardon. Currently takes classes at the National University and Institute of Arts with Dr. Alexander Sklioutovski teachers, MM Ludmila Melzer, M.M. Luis Monge and Mr. Gerardo Meza. In his career he has played piano in different rooms, including the prestigious Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, USA, National Theater of Costa Rica, Melico Salazar Theater, Eugene O'Neill Theatre, Golden Room, Museo de Arte Costarricense, Country Escazú Club, Country Club El Castillo Heredia, Picado Auditorium of the Universidad Nacional de Heredia, Richter ISA Board, Auditorium A, City of Carthage, Carthage Technology in Costa Rica; Museum David J. Guzmán, Fundación María Núñez Slope, International Exhibition, National Arts Center in El Salvador.


In April 2007 he presented a recital Piano opening the season in the National Theatre, etc., and in 2008 closed the season Piano. In 2007 he played with the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica and winner of the Young Soloists; in 2008 was invited to perform with the Symphony Orchestra of the National University.


In 2007 and Concultura Counterpoint Forum in El Salvador was given an award for Musical Talent. It also formed part of the official visit of President of El Salvador to Costa Rica, El Salvador performing works in 2008. He was invited to the Ibero-American Summit, held in October 2008 in El Salvador, where he also played with the Youth Orchestra of El Salvador led by Uruguayan Jorge Martín. That same year he obtained the Bachelor of Education and Piano Performance and is currently pursuing a degree at the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. In 2009 he received an award from the National University as a student winner of national and international competitions. He is currently working on a project to record an album.


He has had master classes with pianist and composer Jorge Pepi Alós, Edith Fisher (Conservatory of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, 2005), Alexander Vershinin (PI Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, Russia, 2005), Junko Ueno Garrett (Toho Gakuen Tokyo , 2008) Dr. Min Kwon, Associate Professor of Music, Piano, Mason Gross School of the Arts Rutgers (The State University of New Jersey, 2008).

In June of this year was invited to perform with the National Symphony of Costa Rica under the direction of Maestro Komatsu Japanese Chosei Concerto No 3 in C Major for Piano and Orchestra of the Russian composer S. Prokofiev, also in September of this year has been invited to perform with the National Youth Orchestra of El Salvador under the direction of Maestro Jorge Uruguayan Martin Concerto No 3 in C minor German composer L. van Beethoven.


He won first place in the contest Boun & Bradshaw Piano Competition 2008, New York Honorable Mention winner of the contest Boun & Bradshaw Piano Competition 2007, New York Young Soloists winner in October 2007.
